Two at the table always got the buffet….but that was done away with during the week. Not once this year have anyone at our table been able to finish their French fries. And we have yet to have french fries with our meal that wasn’t overcooked. The cheeseburger middle was raw on the well done sandwich. The tenderloin was so over cooked it was difficult to not only chew but it was a nice dark color of brown. They try and they do a good job but they also agree that the food is just different in a bad way. My husband showed the server who took it and then returned later with nothing saying she didn’t know what to do.
The Reuben sandwich was awful and had so much fat in it that it was sad. Now we are even saying we will try things different until we can find something we can eat! We have attended every other Tuesday this year and we have yet to find anything worth ordering again. We have laughed how we (the four of us) will try different things on the menu until we find something we like. Here let me repeat that The food was good UNTIL this year. We meet there, watch and bet on the races from the club house. They from Columbus, Indiana and us from the south side of Indianapolis. For the last two years we have been meeting friends…. The people at the race track know my husband quite well. We have attended horse races at Shelbyville since they opened their doors.
